Thank you all for your comments and advice ... I shall let you all know what eventually happened during my trip when I get back in January ... am definitely looking forward to ringing in the New Year in ... well where-ever I am on 31st December. In the meantime, just like to tell you all that all that I find all the varied postings and replies very .. well ... very informative and helpful.

Opps, i thought I hit the 'Return to Branch' button. Now that I am here I will say I use a suitcase. Why carry when you can wheel? No problems even in the busy streets of Hanoi. Yagoon will be a breeze.
