Hi,
we want to travel from Myit. to Khata beg.of September.
We don't know if we should travel trough Bhamo (road and river) , or on the west road thorugh Indawgyi Lake.
Any suggestions?

You can go to via Bhamo:
Myithkyna / Sinpo / Bhamo, by boat 2 days
Myithkyna / Bhamo, by bus, about 8 hours
From Bhamo you should take the fast boat to Katha, no bus from there. instead you can take a bus to mandalay.
Indawgyi Lake is out from any big road... the road that connects Mandalay/Myithkyna I think goes near Hopin, not Indawgyi Lake. Don-t know anything about buses in this route.
You also can take the train from Myithkyna to naba and from there is just 1 hour by bus/jeep to Katha.
