hello, does anyone experienced boarding the bus from yangon to mrauk u ?
I KNOW that I can buy this ticket via online ( myanmarbusticket or bnfexpress ). it is not express bus
no a/c, the condition of bus is very bad. the journey is 24hr. but i would like to know "real experience of this bus . I searched internet but i can only found the review from mrauk u to yangon bus.
if some has been board this bus , please let me know "real review".

Surely the journey from Mrauk U to Yangon is exactly the same as going from Yangon to Mrauk U! I wouldn't recommend doing it in a bus that is old and with no a/c. It is a testing enough journey in a decent new bus. You don't have to book the bus online. Just enquire about a bus to Mrauk U when you are in Yangon. There is more than one bus company in Yangon and the more you pay for a ticket, the better condition the bus will be in. However old the bus is, it will take at least 24 hours to get there. You will need to have copies of your passport to hand in at the checkpoints on the way.
There is no express bus to Mrauk U. They all take at least 24 hours because it has to cross a mountain Range!
thank you for reply. even though the bus company is different, departing time is only 8:00 am ? I only know the bus company " aung thit sar", which is no review . please let me know the other bus company name operated to mrauk u AND the departing time is ONLY 8:00 am ?
I don't know the bus company name. There are dozens of bus companies in Yangon. You won't find bus company reviews online and most bus companies don't have online booking facilities. That's why I suggested that you ask when you arrive in Yangon. Your hotel or guesthouse can arrange bus tickets and there are loads of agencies in central Yangon who can book bus tickets as well.
