My humblest of apologies sarrahjane It's my interpretation of others interpretation of Burmese script, I promise to try and be more careful in the future. My excuse is I am mindless and yet my keyboard seems to have a mind of it's own. Please please forgive me it's my keyboards fault.
Does this gross act of mispelling entitle me to free lunch at the Insein club with you know who?

Interesting reminder mosegrisen of the 45kyat and 90 kyat bank notes, get up early to bargain as lucky money rules then with a flourish and wave of the kyat notes after the deal has been struck at market stalls and shops
General Ne Win, who seized power in 1962, was guided in his decisions by a belief that the number nine was his lucky number. In September 1987, he introduced the 45 kyat and 90 kyat bank notes because they are divisible by nine and their digits add up to nine. An astrologer reportedly told him that he would live for 90 years if he did - he died aged 92. It is said that Ne Win used to walk backwards on bridges to ward off evil.
Tan Shwe is also extremly superstitious person and like many famous world leaders uses Astrology and the occult and to guide his decisions. Just have to see where it lead Hitler Mussolini and Bush all of whom had the same misguided trust in Astrologers & soothsayers, despite their alleged "Christian" persona.

I've got some of those 45 and 90 kyat notes. And a few FECs. Wonder if they're worth anything.

FEC's still worth same in Myanmar and also in use as business currency
