Yet another visa question,

tho this branch doesn't really get too many visa questions. On the Myanmar branch, every third question is about visas and the regulars there are so sweet to continue answering them over and over.

Anyway, all of a sudden Laos is on my radar and I need to figure out what the real deal is with visas right now. The web is full of conflicting info. I am pretty sure that I can cross at Huay Xai and get a visa on arrival for $35 (I am an American) which is good for 30 days. Is this the current case? Last time I was in Laos it was with a 15 day visa and that certainly was not enuf time.

Also, I would like to go south and cross into Cambodia. Can one get a visa on arrival for Cambodia at it's border with Laos?
