I am planning to go on the Tree Tops adventure in Paksong, southern Laos. Can anyone tell me :

-what is the height of the climb?
-is there a walking way up? I have seen reports on TA that there is but the company say not.
-would it be too difficult for someone with a moderate knee injury (torn ACL)?

thanks

sorry if not clear, I am referring to the via ferrata section.

I guess it depends what else you can or cant do with your knee. At the via ferrata you climb up walls vertically and then climb along horizontally and sometimes around corners. Should you decide on the spot that you dont want to do it, you`ll have to go through with it anyway. We did this in October 2014 and although I had read before that the via ferrata was optional there was no other way. Some of the staff members from the treehouse camp also took this route, bringing back bags from supplies.

It also includes a lot of trecking for several hours each day. It`s already exhausting even without injuries.

Sorry for the late reply. I hope its still useful.
I don
t remember how high we got in total. The first vertical climb might be about 3m. And I think that was the highest one. There were some twisting parts. And for me the whole thing was very difficult and demanding.
