We will be obtaining our Laos visas whilst in Bangkok. What is the current price in $US and baht for a 30 day one and how many photos are required please? We are from Uk.
If anyone has any accomm recommendations for Savannakhet, Pakse, Champasak, or the islands and email addresses we would be pleased to know about them.

- Cost for most Europeans is between $ 32 - 35.00 should be 1 photo but I always take a couple extra with me. I suggest you get the visa
on arrival in either LPG or VTE airports or the MAJOR border crossings like Nongkhai/VTE , Savannakhet, Ubon/Pakxe, Houay Xai. There is an FAQ thread with details on this. The embassy in BKK is a bit out of the way, and unless you pay an express fee and wait you'll have to come back. Not worth it.
