Hi!
My plan is to go Nong Khiaw by Bus and back by Bus . Then a return Boat Trip trip Mung Ngoi Neua
is it possible to do this as a day trip from Nong Khiaw?
Or by Boat from Luang Prabang to Muang Ngoi Neua?

A few months ago I tried to do a day trip from Nong Kiew to Muong Ngoy but couldn't by normal schedule public boats as they only go in the mornings. The only way is to charter a boat in Nong Kiew and have them wait for you to go back. The daily boat from Nong Kiew to Luang Prabang left at 11:00 AM and only goes if there are enough passengers.

Since there is now a road to Muang Ngoi neu you should be able to go by boat from Non Khiaw , return by road. Not possible from Luang Prabang
