Luang Prabang to Hanoi

The Vietnam Airlines office at the Luang Prabang Airport can assist in getting a Viet visa BUT it still needs to be arranged in advance. You CAN'T just show up for the flight to Hanoi and expect a visa on the spot.

No probs, we already have the visas - we got them in Bangkok just last week as we had the time etc so figured we might as well. I think we'll take the flight and book it at the Laos Airlines office as soon as we get to Vientiane which will be about 2 weeks before the date we want to fly so I hope they don't book out in that time!
