Hello there,

We will be flying from Hanoi to Luang Prabang in December. Do we need to get a Laotian visa before we arrive? Can we get it upon arrival at the Luang Prabang airport? If so, is it a hassle upon arrival or not really? Do we need photos before we arrive etc? What should we expect to pay?

We haven't bothered to do much research, have we? Google is easy to use. VOA is easy. Yes you need 2 passport sized photos. The cost of the visa depends on your nationality.
