I'd like to go from Laos to Cambodia. I'll be in LP and Vientiane this November and I'd like to go to Phnom Penh and Siam Riep. I can leave from either and go to either (e.g., LP to Siam Riep, LP to Phnom Penh, Vientiane to Phnom Penh, Vientiane to Siam Riep...or if I'm in Vientiane I could leave from Udon Thani). I'll have to fly. Any advice on flexibility, airlines, cost of one v. another? Of course I'd like the best of both worlds so I'd like to minimize the time spent traveling and at the same time minimize the resulting cash hemorrhage. Cheers,

Brendon

There are flights to Cambodia from LP, Vientiane and Pakse. Going overland from Don Det (4000 islands) to Phnom Penh will take two days with a stopover in either Stung Treng or Kratie. 7- 8USD for the regular bus from Stung Treng to Phnom Penh.
