We were hoping to do that later this year but was under the impression that there were no longer boats going to Champasak.
Could you tell me where and with whom you arranged this?

Yes, I think the public boat has stopped running, but we went in a boat operated by Sabaidy Guesthouse 2 in Pakse. You can find more info in LP (p273 of 2010 edition (English)). We were the only people who took the boat, and it's true it was slower than by road, but much more relaxing!

Hi lst- I am looking into staying at phetdavanh guesthouse & bungalows in Muong ngai, would you recall any deteails about them- like mosquito nets, breakfast, private bathroom, views?
