Hi Thorn Tree'ers,
I'm going to SE Asia Feb 28th, landing in Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh), up to Hanoi, then accross to Laos, and onto Cambodia... looking forward to it!
Has anyone used Laos Airlines or Bangkok Airways Air Passes between Vietnem, Laos & Cambodia?
My planned route for use of this air pass is: Hanoi - Lubang Prabang - Vientiane - Paske - Siem Reap.
I understand the mechanics of how the air pass works, though am interested in other travel experiences with use of it in their travels.
I am unsure whether to pre-book all legs (which doesn't leave me any flexibility) or adhoc my bookings?
Also, how reliable are Laos Airlines with regards to flight dates and times?
Any and all advice is welcomed...

yes I used the bangkok pass a few times, was very satisified. even if you book the flights in advance, you can change the dates (no charge- but there must be available seats of course for the new date) , you can even change the route (20 or 30 usd charge).
I took laos air from hanoi to lp, code share with vietnam ailrlines and it was on time - but that"s just one flight.
