hi fellow TTers,
anybody know if you really get your refund if you have to cancel a flight on Lao airways?
the website says it will cost 25 dollars, but do they actually give you the rest of your money back

If you cancel before the flight, especially days before, I would expect you could obtain a refund.

If it's the day of or a past flight, then you are probably out of luck as the seat could not be resold. Not that you can't ask.

Yes you get a refund minus the $25 refund fee. I cancelled a flight Phnom Penh-Vientiane with them recently and they refunded my visa card minus the $25 and minus a bit of exchange rate loss.

i need a 'fake' ticket to get my chinavisum, so a refund fee of 25 is quite good
somebody told me i would never get my refund from lao airlines, but it is good to hear other experiences
