Crossing into Cambodia from Don Det

Hello,

I am looking for any info on crossing into Cambodia from Don Det. Ideally I would like to go to Kratie once on Cambodia. Is this possible to arrange or do I need to stop off somewhere first.

You should be able to arrange bus from the island (I did) then just tell the driver on the Cambodian side you will get off in Kratie. Get through ticket, its easier despite the wait. if you get stranded at that border you could have quite a wait on your hands.

I suggest just get a ticket to border $5,and contact ATV van service online for minivan border to kratie.they are good and will explsin u everything what to do.They have someone at border waiting.Also do not give ur pasport to anybody,get the visa yourself at border.

Yeah it's pretty easy - most accom on Don Det can book bus tickets into Cambodia, including to Kratie. Just follow along on the day as you might have to change bus a couple of times, but keep saying you're going to Kratie and they'll get you to the right place.
