Any suggestions for a cheap hostel or guesthouse in central Vientienne that would cost around 10 to 15 US dollars? An A/C is a must. And do you have their web address? thanks!

there are lots of guesthouses in vte.
on arrival in cientiane, proceed to this street facing the mekong river. the main road has lots of budget hotels and on the side streets are guesthouses usually used by backpackers.

try the Vayakorn Guesthouse. nice rooms, 15$ i think. a/c. email is vayakone@laotel.com adress: 091,nokeo kuman street, ban mixay. tel (00856-21)241911 or 241912 we stayed here and it was perfect.

I stayed at Villa Sisavad recently. It's nice and has a swimming pool. It's $15/- per night w/ a/c. cable tv, fridge. only problem is it is a little far (23kms) from the river front.
