Hey guys,

Just wondering how easy, or where is the easiest place for me to get a Laos visa in vietnam? I am travelling from Saigon to Hanoi, and heading into Laos from Vinh. Should I organise the visa at home in melbourne?

Second, has anyone caught the bus from Vinh to Vientiane. Is it direct or do you need to change at the border? Is it easy to get tickets as I am only going to be in Vinh for a day or two.

If you are coming from Vinh then a Lao visa will be available at the international border crossing, no need to waste time and energy buying in Vietnam...
