Border crossing from China

Don't pay the tea money. Stand staunch get the rest also to do it, if they will not chicken out and for once will stick together.

I've crossed at Boten-Mohan a couple of times, only into China, never southbound, and changed small amounts at the border. When not rushed, I had no problem, but once on the through van I was hurried to get back in the van and ended up with a couple fake notes (inexpensive and interesting bookmarkers).

What time it will be open on the morning this border for the tourists?

According to my old LP guide it was 8am to 4pm, but this could have changed. There might be more up-to-date info online.
