I'm sorry, I am in Cuba where internet is 10euros/hour and the speed is amazingly slow, so no time to skim through old posts. The boring question is: Crossing from Laos into Cambodia, is it feasible? What about the way back into Laos? Any visa problems (similar to the double-entry China visa, let's say?)
Thanks for any help.
we were thinking of staying at Mohachai or sea sun GH - anyone stayed at these? If so how much and would you recommend them. Any email addresses would be appreciated.
We heard Orchadee has a s/pool - anyone know what it costs to stay there or have email address? Probably be going last week in November.
Thanks
Is it easy enough to obtain a 30 day visa at the border when entering Cambodia? If so how much in $us and bhat? Also how many photos are required?
Thanks
Hi all,
from all the reviews I'm reading, it sounds like it would be preferrable to stay in S.R. for
a week rather than for a few days and then onto B? What is there to do in S.R. other than the temples?
thanks for your help. cheers
Has anyone being to Banlung in the Ratanakiri province. Is it worth going to and how long did it take to get there from Phomn Penh.

A friend and I are planning a trip to Laos and Cambodia next month. We live in different countries (in Europe) and we have been given different advice (both from specialist travel clinics) about malaria prevention. I have been told that I do not need to take malaria tablets as we are only going to low risk areas (apart from Angkor Wat, and apparently that should be OK as long…
HI Am flying BKK to PP and plan to do a pub crawl on one nite to bars such as Heart of Darkness, Walkabout etc. Are these bars and others reasonably safe and it is wise to walk there or catch taxis. Just going on what LP says and looking for comments from someone who has been there. Thanks
We're going to Cambodia and Vietnam in a few weeks. We had planned to get the ferry from Phnom Penh over the border into Vietnam (which brings us to Chau Doc I think I've read). Then we'll spend a few days around the Mekong Delta area.
I've read a bit about Sihanoukville and was considering stopping off there after Phnom Penh.
My question is: - will we be able to get across to Vietnam easily from here or will we need to travel back to Phnom Penh and get the ferry to the border?
Thanks in advance!
