What ever you do I strongly suggest you do not hire a drunk "conservationist" from the Keo Sema distric to take you on a wildlife trek.

Other than getting us lost in the thick of the forrest on multiple occasions, the only wildlife we saw was giant spiders. (I prefered them deep fried in Skuon!)

Even our guide from Sen Monorom was pissed off - but he probably should not have bought them two bottles of "werstler" wine.

#8 is right. Much wildlife in the forests betweemn Rtanakiri and Vietnam but apart from abundant bird life you are unlikely to see anything, you may see the Dolphins @ Kratie or elsewhere on the Mekong but theres an equally good chance that you wont.
