Want to volunteer in a school in Cambodia

Tukchet is a small school in a remote village in Cambodia.
We are always looking for motivated individuals to teach English to the kids. Depending on your skills (and your wishes) you can also be involved in some other projects of the community: construction, animals, farming... there's always lots of opportunities for you to share the life of the people in Angkly and help them developing their community. Please note that we will give priority to volunteers who are available for a minimum of 4 weeks. This is very important to ensure continuity in the kids’ learning. We only ask our volunteers a weekly contribution of 30$ for the food.

Hi there,

Thank you so much for this suggestion, it looks like a great place to volunteer!

I would really like to volunteer here, myself and my friend will be in Cambodia around 27th September for 2/3 weeks and would love to help for a week or so. I know that you would prefer for volunteers to stay for a minimum of 4 weeks but we would be happy to help out with marketing, fundraising, restoring, maintenance and anything else you would like help with.

If this is something you believe would be useful for you please do let me know.

What's the compensation, or is it to be assumed that Tukchet expects something for free?

Thanks for your message.
Indeed we would like to have people staying for about a month minimum, but we're really glad you're willing to come and help. You and your friend can come for a week (unless we have long term volunteers scheduled in September, because we can host no more than 2 volunteers at the same time).
Would you mind contacting me directly by email and maybe send a few more information?
I can also send you some pictures of the school, the village, and the family who's hosting the volunteers.
