Any mainland Chinese national can share their experience on this? Are there any problems for Chinese nationals to get a visa on arrival at Pochentong airport? If so, what are the problems? What are chances?

And what about eVisa? Any restrictions or obstacles for Chinese citizens?

Thanks a lot

I'm not a mainland Chinese national but I do know that dozens of Chinese enter Cambodia every day and receive a visa on arrival with no problems at all. Visa on arrival chances are 100%. e-visa is fine, too - just look it up on the e-visa website, it quite clearly states the non-qualifying countries (which by strange coincidence are the same ones that don't qualify for visa on arrival) of which the PRC is not included.

E-visa works perfectly fine. I applied and got my visa less than 12 hours later. Take that option if you want to be 100% reassured. It's just 25 usd (as compared to 20 usd for VOA)

thanks, folks, for the great info.

It now appears that Chinese border police does not let you exit China unless you have valid visa for your destination country.
