Hi,
Sorry if this question has been answered elsewhere. I looked though past posts and FAQ, but there is so many I may have missed something!

I am an Australian traveling to Vietnam in November via Cambodia. I am planning on getting a visa on arrival, but my sister has applied for and received her Cambodian visa. What are the consequences if she stays a day or two longer than the date of exit she provided on her visa application?

thanks
Loren

You asked this about 30 mins ago

For Cambodia i believe they will charge you a couple of dollars per day extra, but don't take that for gospel. If you're still referring to Vietnam, then see your last thread.

Cambodian Visa's are good for one month. A tourist visa can then be extended for 1 month or a business visa can be extended indefinitely. There is a US$5 a day overstay penalty.

"if she stays a day or two longer than the date of exit she provided on her visa application?"

That depends, as you will be getting a 30 day visa, therfore you will be stamped in for 30 days. So if you plan on staying longer then 30 days, you can either extend your visa, or pay overstay penalty.
