Does anyone have any good tips for Sunset cruise in Phnom Penh, in late March, for 3 adults? Where to go to find them, do I need to book, how much does it cost, any recommended operators, do we have to take our own beer, best time to start / end - and anything else you can think of. Many thanks.

At the end of street 104 on Riverside is the floating port. There are few sunset cruises from there.
Cambocruise is one of them.

Hi there,
Just did it two days ago. You can book a boat for yourselves and I guess go at the time you decide and see what you like.
We took the shared boat so that's what I can report on. About 40 mins duration, leaves every 30 mins from the Marina deck, costs USD5 pp, old boat, all of them (like anything that moves in Phnom Penh) expelling black fumes. Go around 6pm and you'll have sunset, but with so much air pollution there's not much you can see. Perhaps 5.30pm is better and you may see the sun coming down.
People had their own deinks/food, sort of picknick style.
As to what you see, well, poverty and river slums on the banks, minivillages of poor fisherpeople living in their boats beneath a superluxury hotel. It was not pretty, but we found it interesting since we got to see a side of Phnom Penh that we wouldn't have seen otherwise.
Cheers.
