Does anyone on this board have recent experience on using one of the car-with-driver companies in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap?

I am planning to travel to Cambodia this August with my old parents. As dad has knee problem and cannot walk a lot, I am thinking about using one of these rental "taxi" for a week. I plan to fly into Siem Reap, spend a few days there, and then go to Phnom Penh for a few days before flying out direct. I don't expect to be too ambitious in the visit itneary with the old parents around.

Anyone with similar experience to share? What kind of rate should one expect?
Good recommendations are most appreciated!

For Siem Reap I wouldn't bother, get a hotel close to pub street which is pedestrian only also the area around with all the restaurants, the streets are just to narrow for a car or tuk-tuk.

First we staied at http://www.reaksmeychanreashotel.com/ it's right across the street from the area with all the restaurants and about a 2 min walk to Pub street, go to Khmer Kitchen, lovely food.

There are tuk-tuks waiting outside if you like to venture out a little more, if you like to visit Angkor Wat you can hire a taxi with driver for a day, but Angkor Wat involves a lot of walking even if you hire a driver.
http://tinyurl.com/jbwyuzu this is where we spend another night and they offered free tuk-tuks to down town and gave you a mobile so you can call when and where you want to be picked up.

My wife recently used this company for a trip from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh and was very satisfied: http://www.cambodiataxidriver.com

They have multi day tours and get pretty good reviews on trip advisor so probably worth a look. Prices are quoted on the website.
