Hello Everyone,

I am looking for any decent yet inexpensive guest house reccomendations in Siam Reap. Prefer to be near the old market and nightlife areas and AC is a must. I'll be there this Tuesday. Any suggestions?

We stayed at the Shadow of Angkor for $15 per night and were more than happy with hotel .
There were rooms for $20 dollars but they weren't really worth the extra. They had a small balcony
A family run place with great staff and an excellent restaurant fronting the river street and just around the corner from the market and main restaurant drag and of course cold Lao Beer
An excellent Tuk Tuk driver , Solphal works out of here . Enjoyed our days with Sol . A good guide and companion
He can be contacted at the hotel and if you pre book your room it can be arranged for him to pick you up at the airport.

Depends on your price range but Molly Malones would be a good choice with A/C rooms from about 20$ to 30$.

Golden Temple down a quiet side street was nice. Khmer owned with a nice
restaurant attached (also one on Bar Street). Nice room, friendly staff, free
internet, coffee tea and bananas. I paid $14 with ac.
