I know the restaurant thing has been discussed before on here and elsewhere but things change quickly sometimes and we'll be there next week.......so just wondering if anyone has any new things to say about the best places to eat/drink in Siem Reap and an idea of price (any budget). Thanks!

Depends on the type of food you like but you can try the following restaurants:

For a nice steak try Cafe Indochine on Sivatha Boulevard aprox. 10$ for meal

For a good Indian curry try Marharajah near Old Market aprox. 5$ for meal

For a tasty pizza try Kampuchina restaurant near Old market aprox. 5$

For Khmer food try Madam Butterfly, Viroths or Angkor Palm 5$ to 10$

For good buffet food with Apsara dancing try Kulen 11 restaurant 12$

For Pub food try Molly Malones on pub street. aprox. 5$ to 6$.

For bakery cafe then try Blue Pumpkin.

If you want a nice meal and splurge a bit then try Meric restaurant at Hotel del A Paix 20$ plus.

You could also try Tell restaurant, Hawaii pizza, Kuma Sutra, Red Orchid and Abacus restaurants.

Avoid the Mexican food. Funky Munky has a good full dinner menu with a fabulous roasted pork night.
