I did the best with the info I had. I emailed a couple of agencies in Hong Kong and their price was more than what I paid in Cambodia and a multi entry was not guaranteed. I had to have multi entry as we are going to Mongolia and then back in for the ferry to South Korea. We had already been to Loas and Vietnam before. So I sucked it up and paid the extra money and let the travel agent do it for me. Not my usual style but sometimes you pay extra for the guarantee and ease. In Hong Kong now and I am hearing people complaining about not getting multiple entry. Thank you everyone for your help.

Danubius, this is the reply I got back from the agency that was listed in your post. fbtravel@fbt-chinavisa.com.hk "Normally for USA passport we can only offer single and double or 6 month multi entry "L" and "M" visas with 30 days maximmum duration of each stay are available price is HK$1,650.00 for single and double entry "L" visa and HK$1,750.00 for 6 month multi entry :L: visa
price for business "M" visa is HK$1,650.00 for single and double entry and HK$1,800.00 for 6 month visa
if you wish to apply "M" visa you need to provide one business card from a US company
visa application needs two working days
Application before 13:00pm and pick up by 16:00am next day (Monday to Thursday)
By the way currently there is a new policy from the visa consulate that people who have made extensions in the mainland China from the local police or have any record overstay in China before or keep staying for too long inside will have problems getting new visas in Hong Kong it might be rejected or will be given a very short stay ( 7-14 days ) single entry visa.
so you'd better check your records before coming
Alex".
