As I am filling out my Cambodian Visa form there is a question I do not understand. It states "Passport of traveling document is valid for (country)". Is this the country I'm traveling to or traveling from or my country of origin? I will be entering from Vietnam and am an American. Could someone tell me what it means?

I did a search but could not find a specific answer.

Thanks

In your case it's USofA.

The visa form I've used and friends of mine have used is here. It's always been accepted for the visa on arrival, at both airports and overland border crossings. I can't find any question re the country the applicant's passport is valid for.

Thanks for the replys.

I got the visa application from the Cambodian Embassy website. What is in quotes is exactly what was on the application. It just wasn't clear what they were asking for.

I figured since I am going to get the visa before I go I should use their form.

Wording's a bit confusing, but what they're asking for is the country that issued the passport, in your case, the USA.
