Cheap especially when you compare the visa cost to say, China. Cost us the equivalent of US$109 for a 30 day visa.

briantc if you travel a lot it is always a good idea to have some $ for emergencies with a mixture of small and larger denominations

depending on how you change money in Cambodia you may even get a better rate than in the UK

@lucapal, don't think it's anything to do with inflation but the visa fee has been at $USD20 for a very long time, so I guess they figured it was due for an increase. Hopefully they won't increase it again for another decade or longer.

It's $30 as of Nov 2014 when we were there. Only one photograph needed. The visa is stuck on your passport and the whole process takes about 2-3 minutes. The line moves very fast --- the passport is literally passed on to six or seven officials sitting next to each other!
