Maestro is a form of debit card. It seems to be being used less - my bank recently switched to visa debit so you may want to see if you can get a visa debit card for your trip. Agree with above never withdraw money from an ATM with a credit card as they charge you interest from day one.
ilovetokyo i used my CBA travel money card in Cambodia, i beleive if your card has the MasterCard symbol in it, it should work just about anywhere

Maestro is associated with Mastercard. No problems withdrawing money with it in Cambodia. However, these days I'd highly recommend a Mastercard Debit or VISA Debit in addition to a credit card because these debit cards can also be used to make purchases everywhere where standard Mastercard or VISA card credit cards are accepted. This is because they use the same network only difference is you're using your own funds rather than accessing the bank's line of credit.
Maestro cards alone on the other hand can generally only be used to withdraw money in Cambodia - the Australia EFTPOS system or the European style system that allows purchases made using these debit cards I don't think ever made it to Cambodia. Only the current system of purchases made via Master/VISA debit cards did.

I know I'll get howled down here on this issue, but on my last several visits to Cambodia (and SE Asia generally) I have carried cash up front, and used my Visa card at ATM's only if and when my cash has run out.
For a two month stay I took $4,000 AUD and on a couple of 4 week visits $2000 AUD. I don't accept $16 - $20 $ AUD processing fees for each ATM transaction on my Visa/Mastercard and prefer to trust my own judgement in handling cash over the ever changing machinations of corporate debit/credit cards. Sure there's a risk, but it's risk I'm prepared to take, and I guess after 40 years of travelling I'm old enough to know what situations to avoid to minimise that risk.
