I wouldn't let the worry of rain affect your trip. Torrential downpours that last more than 10 minutes are not common. It's more likely to be a brief shower on most days and wet season has the advantage that there are a lot less tourists, accommodation is easier to find and its often cheaper and the countryside looks greener. I actually prefer being in Cambodia during the wet season.
If you're caught out on your bicycle during a sudden shower you can usually find somewhere to duck under cover while you wait for it to pass. It'll give you a chance to stop and meet some of the locals.
