If your nationality require a visa to enter Thailand, then you'll have to as they aren't avaliable on arrival.

Amdittedly, my information is old, but I think any visa other than the 30 day travel visa requires you to go to the Thai embassy.

The Thai Embassy in Phnom Phen is not known as a friendly place for a non-Cambodian to get a visa. It can be done, but a lot of people get turned away.

North American citizens get a visa on arrival at Thai border, but I'm not sure what the limit is. I think it's 30 days. It's a little bit of a hassle, but not that bad of one.

  1. What you get on arrival is a visa exemption stamp, or a permit if you like, to stay in Thailand witout a visa, for up to 30 days.

I think that you will find that the only way that you can get a 60 day visa to Thailand is to apply to a Thai embassy. It doesnt matter what country you are in

You can get it from any travel agent in Phnom Penh easily but DO NOT go to the thai embassy in person in Phnom Penh to get it.
