Anyone used 99 Coachland Express/Executive to get from Singapore to Krabi ?
Does it cross via Sadao or the nearer border to South-West Thailand at Padang Besar Border ?
Hi everyone. So I haven't been to Bali/the Gili Islands since 1994, so I know a lot has changed! Can someone please give me advice on this: We are going in late December/Early January to Gili Air. I've read that ferries from Bali to the islands are often canceled from the weather at this time of year. Should I plan on the possibility of that happening, and book air tickets to Lombok instead? Would really rather take a ferry, but certainly don't want to get stuck with ferry tickets I can't…
Hi,
Me and my partner want to give up life in he UK and travel abroad and work in animal conservation in Borneo. We want to volunteer there and hopefully get a job at the end of it and stay abroad. We are looking for organisations with no cost and to work for our bed and board. Dose anyone know of any organisations that provide this??
Thank you
My partner and I have started to plan our honeymoon and had initially started with Malaysia (a mix of KL, Borneo and either Pangkor or Langkawi islands) after reading October would be a 'shoulder' month, with the monsoon season starting later in the month towards November.
We've since read varying online articles that say October is one of the wettest months, but still some that say it's within the best period to go (most seem to say April-Oct). As we're looking to go at the start of the month…
Hello! We are looking to plan about 10 days in Malaysia in late July of 2019. 4 adults and 5 kids ages 6-13.
Half of us are coming from the USA and so jet lag is a concern as we plan the itinerary.
We are planning to fly into KL but can do Singapore if that makes more sense.
We want to hit up the Perhentians or Tioman or another (?), KL, Cameron Highlands and then Penang OR Langkawi for the activities for the kids.
Originally, I thought of going KL - CH - Penang/Langkawi- Perhentians - KL but…
Recent earthquakes in Lombok and Central Sulawesi in Indonesia have caused major damage to buildings and infrastructure, with a significant number of casualties. Emergency response efforts are ongoing. If you are travelling within these regions, monitor the local news and follow the advice of local authorities, and be aware of the continued risk of aftershocks. At the current time, other parts of Indonesia are unaffected. Please check the latest advice from your government before travelling for…
I really want to try living with locals and feel the local lifestyle, which destination would be better choice?
Bonus: Hot weather, affordable shopping
Or is there any other options close by? Any recommendations, please!
Hi fellow travellers,
I'm planning on travelling Indonesia, but because of limited travel time I would like to book some flights in advance with Air Asia. I know using their website is the best option, but they don't accept my credit card, seems to be a common problem. So there are plenty of other websites, but reading so much mixed message anyone ever used one of these website and has something positive to say ;) (only the complain messages seem to be posted on review site)...

Hi, I'm searching for some good ideas for spending 5 days around this area of Malaysia. I'm interested in any advice about beaches, wildlife, good hotels and nightlife (restaurants and/or bars). Thanks in advice for any information!
