Visa extensions, validity

If i get the 30days visa/waiver at airport (MNL) is it posible to get right there the extension?

another question- if i get the extension later, it is valid from the day u appy or does it count from first day after your 30day visa/waiver exprires?
reason im askin is i try to get the extension on the way, somewhere in a smaller city

If i get the 30days visa/waiver at airport (MNL) is it posible to get right there the extension? -maybe -if you tell us what airport you are arriving -do you have a return or onward ticket? -u get an extension to the 30 day visa waiver -so a total of 59 days stay .

The OP has told us what airport they are arriving at MNL is the biggest NAIA international airport, which means yes, they can get an extension on arrival IF the office is open and IF they feel like the it after a long flight or flights, which I would not. Easy to get an extension later in nearly all cities of any size.

maybe i should have been more specific and say what terminal as it may not be available at all terminals?

Im arriving at Manila airport - MNL-refering to it. T1 but have 3,5 hrs to get on Cebu Pacific fllight from T3.
Does the moneychanger there (T1) have decent exchange rates better do go resort worlds or anywhere else(bank) close by?

u will need most of that time to collect bags /go thru immigration and transfer to term 3 -prob not enough time to get visa ext

Ya you only just about have enough time to get t T3 as it is, however if the Cebu Mandaue immigration office is still undergoing renovation, then the stopgap replacement office is a right nightmare. So maybe consider getting a visa in advance,

If you're going to Palawan - we extended our visa in Puerto Princesa in 30 minutes. The extension is valid from the day your first visa expires - so an additional 29 days.

Also avoid Dumaguete, now much worse than Cebu, I was asked if I wouldnt mind returning in two weeks to collect my processed visa!! No more 50 minute turn around there!!..

I heard today too the Mandaue office has now been demolished, so with both Dumaguete and the new Mandaue J - Mall office being pants, it means the extension situation in the Visayas at the moment is pretty dire compared to before.

There is office at Mactan in Giasarno Mall between 2 bridges , my advice is go when they first open and not near lunch time like i did , took 2 hours . Tacloban is 30 mins usually no one there just lady who processes every thing and fat guy playing on phone who signs it off.
