Hey guys,
Looking for a bit of advice/inspo..so a friend and myself are travelling November to Bali and then making our way to Thailand after.
We’re looking at booking our accommodation for the first night and we’re thinking Seminyak but some people are saying start at Kuta..however some are saying to miss Kuta. We’re only in Bali for 9/10 days so looking to experience best we can in that short amount of time.
Also if anyone has gone from Bali to Thailand, what flight did you get over? We’re thinking into Bangkok stay for a night and then fly down to the islands as it seems we’ll have to fly into Hong Kong, go through immigration, check back in blah blah blah with only about 1hr 30 at the most (not accounting for if we’re delayed) if we fly into the Thai islands. But any other alternatives that people have experienced would be greatly appreciated!

What does HongKong have to do with Bali and Thailand ?

Every group has its own dynamics, if you can't see the idiot then it's probably you.
Enjoy yourself, it's later than you think :-D

As for flights, try Bali to Phuket or Bangkok.. ... Or Bali Singapore Samui. Just as easy.. Not sure how Hong Kong comes into the picture.

Seminyak and kuta are only 10 minutes apart.. Just find a place for one night and then move on the next day...

The apps Grab and Gojek will help you alot from getting fleeced by unscrupulous taxi drivers!!

Just search for flights from Bangkok to Bali very simple you can pick a date/time suitable to you and can travel direct or transfer the choice is yours

depending on what time you are arriving in Bali would influence your place to stay
