Surfing Bali and Lombok in October and November

Our surfing trip to Bali in September was recently canceled when I broke my wrist :(. We want to reschedule for end of October/early November.

How is the surf this time of year? I know this is the beginning of the rainy season, is it pretty wet? Any help would be awesome!!! Thanks.

The wet rain would not be the problem in November, it would be possible ocean conditions. For rally detailed surf advice there are websites dedicated specifically to surf reports...

Thanks. I am aware of Surfline and other websites dedicated to surf forecasts. My hope was that someone on the ground, in Bali or Lombok, would have insight into what the surf is "typically" like in October/November.
