Roxas City, Capiz

Country forums / South-East Asia Islands & Peninsula / Philippines

Will be spending a few days in Roxas City, Capiz (seafood Capital of the Philippines) and need some first hand advice on where to stay. Obviously a lot of info online but first hand experience is always better. Budget will be around 700 peso, any ideas?..

Where the main road from town t-bones the beach is called BayBay. There are many local seafood
restaurants on the beach but it is hit n miss. If you turn right at t-junction and drive down road
parallel to beach you will find some decent accommodation next to beach.

Many thanks sbruny, we had heard about Baybay Beach and the Seafood Restuarants there, sounds like that is the place to stay..Just seen that Roxas has won many awards for being cleanest, greenest City in the Philippines, sounds better all the time. Also the offshore Island looks pretty cool, worth a visit?.In fact any info about Roxas and the surrounding area much appreciated..
