Puerto Galera

Myself and son are heading for Puerto 15th Jan 08 to early Feb, can anybody give me a heads up on budject accomadation.
I was there a few times in the early 90's and loved it. Has it changed much? Hope to show my adult son what life is all about.
Looking for at least a fan and private toilet and if possiable a kitchen

I prefer White Beach to Sabang (which I found to be a bit dirty and a bit sleazy-imo).
Mind you, I haven't been to White Beach for a few years now and have heard it's quite built up now...

its going to be pretty quite after christmas,why dont you go withhout booking,that way you can see what your getting & because you are staying for a few weeks you can haggle.enjoy!ill be there early febuary ,cant wait

Since 1990 there fewer Europeans and more Koreans visiting PG like here on Boracay; you might try the Aninuan and Talipanan less developed beaches west of White Beach. it's already calmed down alot after Christmas New Years and before Chinese New years so mid January is a great time to go for a week maybe. But remember the Kalibo Ati Atihan Filipino Mardis Gras festival is the 3rd weekend of January and well worth going to to PARTY and DANCE in the streets to BEAT of many drums.

Big Apple in Sabang has a few fan rooms for 650p per
Also Angelinas resort but I found thier fan room unacceptable.
Tamaraw BR has 600p rooms just around the corner from White Beach.

After Manila and Subic, that sounds like a nice price Rex
