Needed: a 3 weeks itinerary (travel intensely)

Country forums / South-East Asia Islands & Peninsula / Philippines

Hi!

I'll be flying into Manila on July 19 and I've never been to the Philippines before, so I was hoping that some of you could give me a rough itinerary for 3 weeks... Requirements: Diving / hiking / mountains / scenery.

Hope to get some good feedback! :)

Cheers, Vincent

I'd suggest Central Visayas, much better weather this time of year. Plenty of good diving, and some good mountain treks in the Dumaguete area. NE Mindanao also has some good hikes. Cebu, Bohol, Negros are all off the usual typhoon routes and protected from the SW monsoon. Hiking in the Luzon Cordillera is excellent, but very wet in July and August.
