KL Hotel Reco

I'm hunting for a cool hotel in KL. Something very warm, friendly, clean and in a good location for a short stay in KL... I want to be in the action... I here that Chinatown is the area I'd like to stay in? In terms of budget, I'm ok spending up to $100 a night for something fantastic, but I'd rather spend in the $60 range.
