KK Sunday Markets worth visit of not?

Are the KK Sunday/fillipino markets worth the visit. Am planning trip and deciding whether to adjust dates to catch the markets. Some write ups make it sound good.

The Philippino market is open every day and is on the waterfront.

It is basically a large building crammed with hundreds of stalls all selling more or less the same touristy stuff and during the day can be like a furnace! You can get some nice things like pearls and other jewelry there. Its quite interesting and worth a visit.

The main market is close by where the locals shop for food and spices. Shoes and clothes upstairs.

The Sunday market on Gaia Street is quite interesting but probably not worth adjusting your holiday for. We always go when we are there but don't often buy anything apart from table mats and things like that.
