I'm flying into Cebu (international) need help with planning an itinerary. Hoping to get Borocay, Palawan and Coron in. I have only 20 days before I have to catch a flight in Manila. Anyone have any recommendations on how to go about it and if there is any other islands I should squeeze in ?

hi just a little itinerary for you.

cebu - spend at least 4 days Day 1
√Cebu City Tour
Day 2
√Pescador Island Hopping
√Osmeña Peak
Day 3
√Whalesharks
√Sumilon Island Hopping
√Montaneza Falls
√Mainit HotSpring
Day 4
√Canyoneering
√Kawasan Falls with Bamboo Rafting

then from Cebu, i would suggest, you cover Bohol. Good place since it's just a ferry away from Cebu. Might as well visit it for 2days. Cover Bohol country side tours (Blood Compact Shrine, Baclayon Church, Tarsier, Loboc River Cruise, Sevilla Hanging Bridge, Chocolate Hills) and a day for Panglao Island hopping (Dolphin and Whale Watching, Balicasag Island Snorkeling, Balicasag Island and Virgin Island).

Then after Bohol, heads up to Palawan via Tagbilaran airport. Palawan has 2 amazing spot, Coron and El Nido. I suggest Coron. But either of the two it's worth it. El Nido 4 days and Coron 4days.

After Palawan, go to Boracay via domestic airlines. Airport in Boracay is Caticlan. Spend 3-4 days in Station 1 Boracay. Then from Caticlan airport to Manila International Airport. :) spend some time in Taguig a city ambiance and lifestyle area in town. :) Be ready to get toasted on your trip.. Have fun in Philippines. :)

that above reply is totally unbelievable. There is no flight from Tagblaran to ANYWHERE except Manila.

in 20 days it's pushing it a bit to cover Visayas, Boracay and Palawan. Do-able but not desirable.

however doing an open-jaw type itinerary IN Cebu and OUT Manila is a good one.

personally I'd axe Boracay. That would enable you to do the Visayas and Palawan legs better.

consider after arrival in Cebu to go immeadiately to Moalboal, do the tours #1 suggests (Osmena peak, whalesharks, canyoneering) as daytrips from there, then head down to Dumaguete to do the attractions around there, then Bohol and, perhaps, although you are a bit short of time, Siquijor. All that will take at least 10 days really. Then back to Cebu and fly to Palawan, do that and then a flight to Manila to arrive the day before you leave the Philippines.

I would check with the airlines to see which island airports they fly into and out of to save you time, check Cebu Pacific Air. Also in Cebu depending on your budget you could stay a couple of nights in one of the resorts on Mactan Island south of the airport. Also maybe a few nights in Cebu city, maybe at the Waterfront hotel or a hotel near Ayala mall.

Tagbilaran has flights to Manila, and to no other place. End of story.

They should be looking to get out of Cebu city as quickly as they possibly can and not even spend one night there if they can help it. Cebu city's a chaotic, congested, polluted disorganized mess with no appeal to most tourists.

It's hard to make any suggestions without knowing what your interests are. Btw, Coron is part of Palawan
