An additional question to my previous post: any recommendations regarding good diving spots </b>and especially (cheap) places to get certified?
Moalboal or Puerto Galera would probably be the best places to get certified. Both have lots of dive shops and good diving. | 1
The diving in Boracay is very mediocre. | 2
Yes Puerto Galera or Moalboal | 3
Just a suggestion... you're probably better off not taking the cheapest certification course you can find. You do get what you pay for, and since you're paying for someone to teach you how to stay alive underwater, it's probably not such a good idea to have someone do a sloppy job with it. | 4
Hi, I've just got my dive ticket in El Nido on Palawan. The company I used was El Nido Marine Club where Esmeraldo (a PI gent who has been diving and training for over 25 years) was a very patient and thorough teacher. The cost was P18,000 for as many days as it took (I had some breathing issues and it took me 4 days). | 5
