cebu accomodation negros

Hi,
I am travelling in the Philippines Nov 23- Dec 13. As we are arriving late in Cebu I would like to book some accomodation. Anyone who can recommend a nice place? (budget)
Also interested to hear of any nice places to go to, interesting things to see or do, - anything from a special restaurant, tour guide, beutiful place or practical tips - this will be my first tim ein the country. Thanks!/Sophia

Fuente Pension in Cebu has 24 hr check-in, and your stay is calculated from check-in time, ie if you check in at 21.00 one day, your check-out is 21.00 the next day! I have not stayed there, but the price looks good, so just check this link Fuentepension . If nothing else, you get some sleep and the opportunity to look for somewhere else.

Kukuk's Nest and Turtle's Nest. Good location, good food, cheap rooms but old old house.

wanna try this, from Cebu get a fast craft to Ormoc Leyte, then Bus to Biliran, stay at Vicmars Resort ( P400 big room 3 beds ) and rent aa bike explore, trek to the waterfalls ( 5 ) or rent a boat and swim at Higatangan and Maripipi Islands. Head off to Padre Burgos in Southern Leyte for diving

From Biliran head off to Tacloban ( 3 hrs by van for hire) stay around the city for a night to swim, walk, chill out, then next day head off to Guiuan Samar( 3 hrs from Tac), or Borongan( 5 hours from Tac ).. - both places offer trekking, caving, waterfalls, and beaches. Surfing is a plus in Guiuan.

Fuentepension is a good option, then I think you will want to get out of the city, it's a dirty place. Look up www.wowbantayan This is a great place to chill for a few days.

Is this for business or leisure? Do you intend to stay in just 1 lodging place or move around all the time? What is your budget? Do you plan to go to the beaches?

If you go Negros Island-visit Dumaguete City. its a university town. They have the best diving off Apo Island, Trek to Mt. Talinis, Hotspsrings in Dauin & the Twin Lakes.
