Birdwatching group to join in Lake Kenyir or Fraser hill

Currently I'm in Terengganu and I want to do birding around but I can't do it alone as it will be expensive so I wish to find any person interested in birding and wildlife to join and share the cost (guides or transport)
I'm also flexible to visit any other sites

Unfortunately no , it was very difficult to find any groups to join that time. It’s better to arrange that in advance !
So I decided to go to Sabah instead and there the budget option was so easy , the nature is much richer

Great. May I ask where/with whom did you go in Sabah?

I went to Sabah, Sandakan airport , from there I went alone to Sukau village near Kinabatangan river ( a heaven for wildlife )
Styed in Sukau Greenview Bed & Breakfast , reasonable prices and great service, really enjoyed the river cruises there
Then I returned back to Sandakan city and visited sepilok conservation center for the Orangutans and the sun bear
Its great experience I strongly recommend it , just try to catch good prices on air Asia =)

I'm still thinking Fraser Hill, wonder how to advance book a bird morning...

They are providing 2 nights and three days with around 400MR everything inclusive yet I did not book it , I went there and stayed in the dorm ( 45MR including breakfast per night ) for 5 nights and from time to time I used to go with them on their river cruises ( 50MR per one) .. I used to walk alone around the river for birding as its very safe.
In sepilok I stayed in a wonderful place ( almost same prices for dorm too with wonderful breakfast ) amazing spot for birding and forest walk .. the name is Sepilok Forest Edge Resort .
Both Dorm rooms are very clean and most of the time I used to be alone in the room .
