Hello! My friends and I are going to Singapore on Nov. 18. We are planning to go to KL as soon as we leave the airport. Is there a bus or a train that goes to KL at 1AM? Where do I search for this info? Thanks and best regards.

The following website will give you all the information you need for train travel from Singapore to KL. Sorry don't know anything about bus timings. Have you tried the budget airlines? Not sure if either Air Aia or Tiger Airways do this route but it may be worth a look on their websites.

What time are you scheduled to land at Changi Airport?

The SMRT and bus services from the Airport to the City end at 12 midnight (24:00).
Even if there are buses or trains going to Kuala Lumpur, you will need to take a minivan shuttle or a taxi after midnight from Changi to board your onward connection.

Might be a good idea to sit around at Terminal 1 or 2 and wait to about 05:45 to catch a bus or SMRT out of Changi.

For trains try:

For buses try:

Good luck.

Thanks for your replies. Got the schedules, the bus liners and the fares. We are thinking of taking the First Coach. Will there be no problem if we buy the tickets on the day we will board the bus? We would like the first trip (7:30A.M.). Where is the ticket office of First Coach in Singapore?

Our ETA at Singapore Budget Terminal is at 11:15PM.

I would recommend the train from Singapore to KL. Check out the seat 61 site already mentioned but to purchase tickets go to www.ktmb.com.my site. You can check train times, buy tickets etc on this site. I think you will have to catch the first train in the morning at 7.40am. Best of luck

Thanks dominee! but isn't the bus a faster option than the train? We are now thinking of going to Genting from Singapore then go to KL from Genting. We will be back to Singapore for 2 days stay before coming back home.

Cheers!

Take a taxi (aplenty at Changi Airport) to Golden Mile Complex.

Express bus companies are aplenty there. (My personal favourite is Transtar)

Buses varies from 30-seaters to superdeluxe 16-seaters (with onboard entertainment) and prices to KL ranging fromSGD24.00 to SGD60.00 pax.

You do not need to go searching for First Coach.

#6 thanks for the info. Don't we need to buy our bus tickets ahead? Can we just go to Golden Mile Complex, buy a ticket for Transtar and go?

In most cases, yes.

But November is the school holiday season in Singapore, and a lot of families do take the buses to KL and Genting for their holidays, and the buses may be pre-booked.

I'm sure you can google Transtar or Grasslands and check their websites for more info.

SamPan, there's a change in our sched. We will be in Singapore on 30 Sept. and leave for Genting on 1 Oct. I've tried Transtar's website but I can't find their bus trip sched and fare for Oct. 1. Maybe it's too early to check on the sched/fare?
