Hi,

I'm heading off to Singapore for a few days at the end of March - I wondered if there are many chances for kayaking in and around the islands and if anyone can recommend a company which organises trips?

thanks! H

the waters and islands closeby are really not suited for kayaking. There are too many commercial craft - many of them speed boats and their wake simply topples kayaks. Again, not much to see either - water is not so clean....

If you do not need a visa, I would suggest hopping over to Malaysia or Indonesia and kayaking from there. Just make sure you stay AWAY from the Singapore straits (the straits also have strong currents making it a bad place to kayak)
