For a 22 yr old male; vegetarian; having to commute to Marina Bay. Anyone can suggest a good clean affordable hostel close to MRT? (asking for too much?) Thanks

Hi

  1. Sleepy Sam's on Bussorah St, in a refurbished colonial shophouse. About 10min walk from the Bugis MRT station but they have always had good reviews.

  2. One Florence Close, hostel named after address, off Upp Serangoon Road. A bit out of town but incredibly near to the Kovan MRT station.

  3. InnCrowd 2, Dunlop St, Little India. 10min from Bugis MRT, and also near Little India MRT station. In an unpretentious, charming area. Lots of vegetarian eateries in Singapore's Little India.

Happy planning.

I stayed at Sleepy Sam's a few years ago and they were excellent!

Service World Backpackers Hostel located at Chinatown, about 5 mins to MRT. If you r really in a tight budget, There's a buddist temple(Buddha's Tooth Relic Temple) nxt to it providing free veg meal(donation r most welcome) from 12noon to 6pm daily. Vegetarian menu r easily accessible within the area or I can say whole of Singapore.

Thanks everyone. I think the Little India area has a lot on offer.
