Anyone know of anything going on for Christmas on December 25th? My friend and I will be arriving in Singapore in the afternoon and were wondering if there is anything going on that we could check out to celebrate the holiday - like a dinner anywhere or something?

Quite a bit. There will be music events along the Singapore River at Read Bridge.
Cirque de Soleil is in town and will be doing special Christmas Ice and Acrobatic shows at Singapore Stadium.
There are parades and music along Orchard Road

well xmas this year is on a friday
so expect singapore to be less crowded.
almost everyone in town is out of town
travelling due to the long weekend holiday
but a night out on a friday in town is always good
